French Green Lentils.
Stovetop instructions: Sort and rinse 1 cup lentils. Place in a medium pot with 2 1/2 cups water and bring to a boil. Reduce heat to medium-low and cook until tender, about 25 minutes. Add more water as needed to keep lentils covered with water while cooking. Makes 4 servings (about 2 1/2 cups). Store in a cool, dry place to preserve freshness.
