Precooked Medium Grain Semolina.

Directions

Preparation: Range Top Directions: If you are making 1 cup of couscous you will need 1/3 cup uncooked couscous, 1/2 cup water, broth, or juice, a pinch of salt, and 1 tsp. olive oil or butter. If you are making 2 cups of couscous you will need 3/4 cup uncooked couscous, 1 cup water, broth, or juice, 1/4 tsp. of salt, and 2 tsp. olive oil or butter. If you are making about 5 cups of couscous you will need 1 box uncooked couscous, 2 cups water, broth, or juice, 1/2 tsp. of salt, and 1 Tbsp. olive oil or butter. Preparation Directions: 1. In medium saucepan, bring water, salt (optional) and olive oil or butter to just a boil. 2. Stir in couscous; cover. 3. Remove from heat; let stand 5 minutes. 4. Fluff couscous lightly with fork before serving. Microwave Directions: 1. In round 2-quart microwavable glass casserole, combine water and salt (optional). 2. Microwave at high until boiling, about 2 minutes for 1 serving, 4 to 5 minutes for 2 servings, or 9 to 10 minutes for the entire box.* 3. Add couscous and olive oil or butter; stir. Cover; let stand 5 minutes. 4. Fluff couscous lightly with fork before serving. *Microwave ovens may vary. Adjust time as needed. Low Fat Directions: Follow the above preparation directions, except omit olive oil or butter. High Altitude Preparation: At high altitudes, prepare entire box as directed above except increase water to 2-3/4 cups.
