Organic Whole Grain Oats.
Keeps best refrigerated or frozen. Make the world's best oatmeal at home. It's so simple. Bring 2 cups water and 1/4 tsp. salt (optional) to a boil. Add 1 cup of rolled oats, reduce heat and cook for 10 to 20 minutes (time depending on the consistency that you like your cereal) stirring occasionally. Cover, remove from heat and let stand for a few minutes. Enjoy. Makes 2 servings. In the microwave: Say you're in a hurry. Combine 1/2 cup oats and 1 cup water. Cover and microwave on high for 3 to 5 minutes. Let stand for two minutes. Enjoy. Makes one serving. Serving suggestions: Serve with milk, cream, or a pat of butter. Add brown sugar, honey, or maple syrup for sweetness. Add fresh or dried fruit, raisins, nuts, and/or cinnamon.
