Slow-Cooked Pork Carnitas: Serves 6. 8 hrs. 2 lbs boneless pork shoulder roast, cut into large chunks; 1 pouch Frontera Garlicky Carnitas Slow Cook Sauce. 1. Brown pork in 2 tbs oil in skillet. Put pork and sauce into slow-cooker. Cover; slow-cook on low until tender, about 8 hrs. 2. Marinate a thinly sliced red onion in fresh lime juice and salt to taste. 3. Pull meat into large shreds. Serve with pan juices and marinated onions. Alternatively, cook pork and sauce with 1 cup water in covered dutch oven at 325 degrees for 2-3 hrs. Not intended for microwave use.
