Stove top skillet cook: Keep frozen. Do not overcook. Appliance temperatures may vary. Please consider the performance of your appliance when following these directions. If oil spatters, cover immediately and reduce heat. When spattering stops, remove cover and return to cooking temperature. Be careful not to spatter or spill oil onto hot burner of range. Heat cooking oil in a non stick 12" skillet over medium-high heat. Carefully add frozen hash browns to form an even layer. Cover & cook according to chart. Cook to a light golden color. Season to taste. For 1/2 bag (3 cups) of hash browns use 3 Tbsp. of oil. Cook for 7-11 minutes, turning every 2-3 minutes. For a full bag (6 cups) of hash browns, use 1/3 cup of oil. Cook for 17-22 minutes, turning every 3-4 minutes. Electric skillet cook: 1. Heat cooking oil in a non stick 12" electric skillet at 350F. 2. Carefully add frozen hash browns to form an even layer. 3. Cover and cook according to chart. Cook to a light golden color. 4. Season to taste. For 1/2 bag (3 cups) of hash browns use 3 Tbsp of Oil. Cook 9-12 minutes, turning every 3 minutes. For full bag of hash browns (6 cups) use 1/4 cup of oil. Cook 15-18 minutes, turning every 3 minutes. . Cook thoroughly.
