Potatoes, Dextrose, Disodium Dihydrogen Phosphate (to Retain Natural Color).

Directions

Stove Top Skillet Cook: Appliance temperatures may vary. Please consider the performance of your appliance when following these directions. Caution: Ice crystals on frozen foods can cause splattering when added to hot oil. Add product carefully. Tips for Frying with Oil: Always preheat oil uncovered. If oil splatters, cover immediately and reduce heat. When splattering stops, remove cover and return to cooking temperature. Be careful not to splatter or spill oil onto hot burner of range. Heat cooking oil in a non-stick 12 in skillet over medium-high heat. Carefully add frozen hash browns to form an even layer. Cover & cook according to chart. Cook to a light golden color. Do not stir. Season to taste. If you are cooking 1/2 bag (3-1/2 cups) of hash browns, you will use 3 Tbsp. of oil and cook 4-7 minutes, turn, and continue cooking for another 4-7 minutes. If you are cooking a full bag (7 cups) of hash browns, you will use 1/3 cup of oil and cook 10 minutes, turn, and continue cooking for another 6 minutes, turn, and continue cooking for another 3-5 minutes. Electric Skillet Cook: 1. Heat cooking oil in a non-stick 12 in electric skillet at 375F. Carefully add frozen hash browns to form an even layer. 3. Cover and cook according to chart. Cook to a light golden color. Do not stir. 4. Season to taste. If you are cooking 1/2 bag (3-1/2 cups) of hash browns, you will use 3 Tbsp. of oil and cook 6-7 minutes, turn, and continue cooking for another 6-7 minutes. If you are cooking a full bag (7 cups) of hash browns, you will use 1/4 cup of oil and cook 8 minutes, turn, and continue cooking for another 7 minutes, turn, and continue cooking for another 4-5 minutes. Keep frozen. Cook thoroughly. Do not overcook.
