You Will Need1 pkg. McCormick Sauce Mix 21/4 cups water1 can (6 oz.) tomato paste*1 tbsp. oil or butter (optional)Directions1. Stir Sauce Mix, water, tomato paste and oil in medium saucepan until well blended.2. Bring to boil. Cover. Reduce heat and simmer 10 minutes, stirring occasionally. Serve over pasta and sprinkle with grated Parmesan cheese, if desired.For thicker sauce: Reduce water to 1 3/4 cups if using tomato paste. Reduce water to 1 cup if using tomato sauce.Total Time: 15 minutes. Makes 5(1/2 cup) servings.*Substitution: Use 1 can (8 oz.) tomato sauce in place of tomato paste and reduce water to 11/2 cups.
