Microwave Directions (Recommended Method): 1. Remove almond packet; set aside. Place vegetable pouch, printed side up, on microwavable plate. Do not cut slit in pouch. 2. Microwave on high 3-1/2 to 6 minutes or until thoroughly heated. A popping sound may occur. 3. Caution: Hot! Let stand 1 minute. Pull or cut to open. Empty into serving dish; stir in almonds. Stove-Top Directions: Important: Do not heat vegetable pouch in boiling water. Remove almond packet; set aside. Heat 1/3 cup water to boiling in 1-quart saucepan. Empty contents of vegetable pouch into saucepan. Heat to boiling. Stir; cover and reduce heat to medium. Cook 5 to 7 minutes, stirring often, until thoroughly heated; drain. Add almonds. Keep frozen until ready to cook. Adjust cook times and heat settings as needed. Refrigerate leftovers. For food safety and quality, follow the cooking directions. Before eating, cook thoroughly to at least 160F as measured by an instant-read food thermometer in several places.
