Add 1 cup of quick rolled oats, reduce heat and cook for 3 to 5 minutes (time depending on the consistency that you like your cereal) stirring occasionally. Cover and remove from heat and let stand a few minutes. Microwave instructions: In large bowl, combine 1/2 cup quick rolled oats and 1 cup water. Cover and microwave on high for 1 1/2 to 2 minutes. Let stand for 2 minutes. Makes 1 serving.
