Must be kept refrigerated. Bil-Jac dog food is made with fresh meat for wholesome protein. It must be kept under refrigeration until fed. May be stored in the refrigerator as meat or kept frozen for longer storage. See puppy and adult feeding chart on side panel. Easy to Feed: Take bag from freezer and thaw in refrigerator overnight. Keep in refrigerator while feeding - the same as you would keep meat. Feeding Puppies: Bil-Jac is good for puppies. Most puppies will require twice as much Bil-Jac as adult dogs of the same weight. For young puppies during weaning, 3-1/2 to 4-1/2 weeks old, moisten Bil-Jac with warm water to form a gruel. Feed Bil-Jac 3 to 4 times daily until 6 months old, then twice a day until a year old. Remember, you can best judge your puppy's needs by checking weight gain and conditioning. Adult dogs should be fed once per day. Each dog has a different activity level, so use the suggested feeding chart as a guide. Feeding Chart for Adult Dogs: One measuring cup = 5-1/4 ounces. Toy (Up to 10 lbs): 1/4 to 1/2 cup. Small (10 to 20 lbs): 1/2 to 1 cup. Medium (20 to 50 lbs): 1 to 2-1/2 cups. Large (50 to 80 lbs): 2-1/2 to 4 cups. Extra Large (80 to 120 lbs): 4 to 6 cups. Keep water available at all times. For your dog's health - see your veterinarian regularly.
