Serving suggestion - serve Riceland natural brown rice as a side dish or as an ingredient in main dishes, casseroles, salads or breads. A natural whole grain, it produces rice with a nutty flavor and chewy texture. Use this quick method for 3 cups of tender fluffy rice. 1. Combine in a 2-quart saucepan: 1 Cup Riceland natural brown rice, 2 cups water, 1 Tbsp. oil or margarine, optional. 2. Stir lightly; Bring to a rolling boil & reduce heat to simmer (low boil). 3. Cover with a tight-fitting lid and simmer for 35-45 minutes. 4. Salt to taste. Store brown rice in refrigerator or freezer.
