Microwave Directions:In 4-quart microwaveable bowl, combine 2 2/3 cups water, 1 1/3 cups milk and 1/4 cup butter or margarine. Microwave uncovered on High 7–8 minutes or until boiling. Slowly stir in pasta and Special Seasonings. Microwave on High 2 minutes; stir with fork. Microwave on High 3–4 minutes. Sauce will be thin. Stir; let stand 3–5 minutes to thicken.Microwave ovens vary; adjust times as needed. Range Top Directions:Add: 2 2/3 cups water + 1 1/3 cups milk + 1/4 cup margarine or butter1. In a large saucepan, bring water, milk and margarine or butter to a boil. Slowly stir in pasta and Special Seasonings. Separate pasta with a fork, if needed. Return to a boil.2. Reduce heat to medium. Boil uncovered, 4–5 min. or until pasta is just tender, stirring frequently.3. Sauce will be thin. Let stand 3–5 min. to thicken. Less Fat Directions:Follow Range Top or Microwave Directions, except substitute margarine with 2 teaspoons olive oil and use 11/2 cups skim milk. • Fat reduced to 5g from 13g per serving. • Saturated fat reduced to 2g from 4g per serving. • Trans fat reduced to 0g from 2g per serving. • 45 calories from fat per serving.
