Refresh steaks by lightly rinsing with cold water and pat dry with paper towels just prior to cooking. Rapid Thawing: Leave product in vacuum packaging. Place the vacuum packed seafood in a bowl or tray of cold water. Place bowl or tray in sink and allow a small stream of cold running water to thaw the steaks for about 45 minutes. Carefully empty onto serving dish. 5. Season with your favorite spices, sauces or butters. Caution: Fish and escaping steam will be hot.
