Storage: For optimal results, keep tightly sealed and refrigerate or freeze. If roasted, pecans should be used within 3-4 weeks. Roast or toast for enhanced flavor and crunch: Spread pecans in a single layer in a shallow pan coated lightly with oil or left dry. Roast in 350°F oven for 8-12 minutes, stirring occasionally until fragrant. Pecans will continue to brown after removing from oven.
