What you need (yields 1 quart of ice cream): 1pkg. Junket ice cream mix, 1 1/4 cups of whole milk, 3/4 cup heavy whipping cream. To make two batches at once (1/2 gallon): double the Ingredients as stated above. Homemade ice cream: combine contents one (1)junket ice cream mix package with 1 1/4 cups of whole milk and 3/4 cups heavy cream in a bowl. Stir until dissolved. Pour mixture into your home ice cream maker. Freeze according to manufacturer's instructions. Easy ice cream without using an ice cream maker: combine contents of one (1) junket ice cream mix package with 1 1/4 cups whole milk and 3/4 cup of heavy cream. Stir until dissolved. Pour mixture into 9"x5" pan and freeze until firm. Break into chunks with fork. Put chunk into small bowl and beat with electric mixer until smooth (about 2 minutes). Return mixture to pan and freeze until firm. Reduced fat ice cream: substitute reduced fat milk in place of whole milk and cream. Also available in very vanilla and simply strawberry.
