Keep potatoes in a cool, dark, well ventilated place for up to 2 weeks. Warm temperatures encourage sprouting and shriveling. How to cook: Oven: 1. Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. 2. Gently scrub potatoes clean: pierce skin several times with a fork to allow steam to escape and protect potatoes from bursting. 3. Place potatoes directly on oven rack. 4. Bake 45 minutes, or until middle of potatoes are for tender. 5. Serve, slice lengthwise across top: squeeze gently to fluff inside with fork. Microwave Oven: 1. Gently scrub potatoes clean; pierce several times with a fork to allow steam to escape. 2. Arrange potatoes in a circle (like spokes of a wheel) on a microwave-safe dish. 3. Cook on high power, rotating 1/4 turn half-way through cooking time. 4. Follow the table below for recommended cooking times. 5. Allow to stand 5 minutes before serving.1 Potato: 6 - 8 minutes; 2 potato: 8 - 10 minutes; 3 potato: 10 - 12 minutes; 4 potato: 14 - 18 minutes; 5 potato: 18 - 20 minutes.
