Stove Top Instructions: In a large saucepan with tight fitting lid, bring 2-1/2 cups (20 oz.) of water to a boil. Add 2 tbsp of butter or margarine (optional), then one package of Vigo Mexican Rice, stirring while boiling for one minute. Cover saucepan tightly. Reduce heat to simmer, allow to cook for 20-25 minutes. Serve. Microwave Directions: Combine contents of this package, 2-1/4 cups, hot tap water and 2 tablespoons butter or margarine (optional) in a 1-1/2 quart microwave casserole dish. Cover and microwave on high for 22 minutes (Cooking times may vary depending on power of microwave). Stir. Let stand, covered for 5 minutes. Serve.
