Plain White Arborio Rice: In a large saucepan with tight-fitting lid, bring 3 cups salted water to a boil. Add 2 Tbsp. butter or margarine (optional) and 12 oz Arborio Rice (entire package contents). Stir while boiling for 1 minute. Cover saucepan tightly. Reduce heat to simmer, cook for 18-22 minutes. Fluff and serve. Refrigerate any unused portion. Hint: To cook less than the contents of the entire package, use 2 parts water to one part rice.
