Prepare Brine Blend: Follow manufacturer's instructions to prepare brine blend solution and allow mixture to cool thoroughly. Brine the Bird: Clean and prep the turkey and place it in the Gourmet Brining Bag and then in a roasting pan or tray for added support. Add cooled liquid brine mixture. If necessary, add more cold water until the entire turkey is submerged. Remove excess air and carefully seal the bag by running the seal between your thumb and forefinger along the length of the seal. Refrigerate overnight - 12 to 15 hours for a 20-24 lb turkey. Before Roasting: Remove the bird from the refrigerator. Discard brine solution and bag. Rinse bird thoroughly and pat dry with paper towels.
