Cooking Kasmati® rice (traditional Indian method for maximum grain length): 1 cup uncooked rice. 1 3/4 cups water. 1. Combine rice and water in a medium saucepan. 2. Allow rice to soak in water for 20 minutes. 3. Bring water and rice to a boil. 4. Cover with a tight fitting lid or foil; reduce heat and simmer for 15 minutes. 5. Remove from heat and let stand (covered) for 5-10 minutes longer. Yields approximately 3 cups of cooked rice.
