Canadian Lake Wild Rice
Basic Recipe: 1 pkg rice; 1/2 tsp salt; 4 cups water. 1. Place 4 cups of water in a saucepan. Bring to boil. 2. Add rice. Reduce heat, cover loosely and cook 45-60 minutes. 3. Remove from heat. Drain excess water. Fluff rice with fork, cover and let stand 5 minutes. 4. Add additional flavor by seasoning with butter, margarine, salt or seasoning.
