Preparation: Follow these instructions for a rich hot cocoa, or add more powder for an even more decadent chocolate taste! Mix with hot milk. Top with whipped cream, if desired. Stovetop: Heat 6 oz of milk in a small pan. Add 2 tbsp of Ghirardelli hot cocoa and stir. Heat, while stirring until steaming. Do not boil. Microwave: Pour 6 oz of milk into a mug or cup and heat on high for 1 to 1 1/2 minutes or until desired temperature. Remove from microwave and stir in 2 tbsp of Ghirardelli hot cocoa. Ghirardelli frozen hot cocoa: Melt 4 oz of Ghirardelli semi sweet chocolate chips; add 3 tbsp of Ghirardelli chocolate caramel hot Cocoa powder, stirring constantly until blended. Slowly add 1 1/2 cup of hot milk and stir until smooth. Pour into mugs and top with whipped cream for garnish. Sprinkle with a pinch of medium coarse sea salt. Yield: 2 servings.
