Warm the Tostada Bowls on a baking sheet for about 3 minutes in a pre-heated 350 degrees oven. They are ready when they have a light golden color and a slight sheen. Remove from the oven when done and set aside. Tostadas: Prepare the tostada filling, using: shredded lettuce; diced tomatoes; chopped green onions; grated cheddar cheese; whole black beans or refried beans; cooked beef, chicken, turkey, pork or fish (may be ground, sliced or cubed); sliced ripe olives; salsa; guacamole or sour cream. Fill the crisped Tostada Bowls by layering with heated beans, either whole or refried, shredded lettuce, chopped green onions, diced tomatoes and the cooked meat of your choice. Top with grated cheese, sliced olives and a dollop of salsa, guacamole or sour cream. For extra kick, add thinly diced jalapeno peppers. Enjoy!
