1 Serving: 1 cup of water, dash of salt (optional), 1/4 cup of Cream of RiceÂ®; 2 Servings: 2 cups of water, 1/2 tsp of salt (optional), 1/2 cup of Cream of RiceÂ®; 4 Servings: 4 cups of water, 3/4 tsp of salt (optional), 1 cup of Cream of RiceÂ®. Stovetop: 1. Bring water and salt to boil. 2. Gradually add Cream of RiceÂ®, stirring constantly with wire whisk until well blended. 3. Return to boil. Reduce heat to low; simmer, uncovered, 30 seconds or until thickened, stirring constantly. 4. Remove from the heat; cover. Let stand 1 minute. Stir well before serving. Microwave (1 Serving): 1. Mix 1/4 cup Cream of RiceÂ®, 1 cup cold water and a dash of salt in 2-cup microwave bowl or measuring cup. 2. Microwave on high 1 minute. Stir with wire whisk. Cook an additional 1 to 2 minutes or until thickened, stirring every 30 seconds. Stir. Cool slightly. Microwave oven mat vary. Cooking times are approximate.
