Refrigerate after opening. Basic stock directions: Dissolve 1 teaspoon (equal to 1 bouillon cube) roasted chicken base in 8 oz. boiling water. For each quart of stock needed, use 1 - 1/2 tablespoons roasted chicken base. Use basic stock for soups, sauces, and gravies, or to cook vegetables, rice, or pasta with more flavor. Creamy chicken with asparagus: Saute 12 oz. of cut chicken and 1/2 cup diced red onion in 1 tablespoon butter. Once browned, add 1/2 tablespoon flour, 1 tablespoon roasted chicken base, 1/2 teaspoon garlic, 1/4 cup sherry, 1 teaspoon black pepper, and 1 cup cream; bring to a boil. Add 1/2 cup blanched cut asparagus tips; stir and serve over cooked fettuccine.
