Daily Feeding: AvoDerm Natural Lamb Meal & Brown Rice Formula is pressure cooked to ensure your dog receives optimum nutrition from high quality ingredients. AvoDerm Natural is naturally formulated to be complete and balanced with added vitamins, minerals, and other essential nutrients for puppies through adult dogs. Adult Feeding Chart: 3-10 lbs: 1/3-1 cup; 10-20 lbs: 1 - 1-1/2 cups; 20-50 lbs 1-1/2 - 3-1/3 cups; 50-75 lbs: 3-1/3 - 4/12 cups; 75-100 lbs: 4-1/2 - 5-1/2 cups; 100 lbs+: 5-1/2 + cups. Dogs 100 lbs+ should be fed 5-1/2 cups plus additional 1/3 cup for every 10 lbs over 100 lbs. The chart above is only a guideline. Puppies: Start allowing puppies access to AvoDerm Natural Lamb Meal & Brown Rice Formula about 3 weeks before weaning, the food can be moistened to help consumption. After weaning feed the puppy 3 to 4 times per day for the first 2 months, and then from 2 to 3 times per day until reaching adult size, and then 1 to 2 times per day. Expect to feed 1-1/2 to 2 times the adult feeding recommendation during the puppy's growing phase. Adjust the daily amount fed so the puppy maintains a good body condition. Pregnant Females: During pregnancy increase the feeding amount during the last 1/3 of pregnancy to 1-1/2 times the amount recommended as shown for the adult. Avoid excessive overfeeding, maintaining a good body condition, while preparing for whelp and nursing. Lactating Females: A nursing female can expect to need 2 to 3 times as much food as recommended in the adult feeding guideline. Adjust the extra food given by the number of puppies and length of nursing. Try to maintain a good body condition, however with large numbers of puppies, expect to have some loss in body fat for milk production.
