Organic Steel Cut Oats
Cooking: 1 Serving: 1/4 cup Steel Cut Oats; 3/4 cup water; dash salt (optional). 2 Servings: 1/2 cup Steel Cut Oats; 1-1/2 cup water; dash salt (optional). 4 Servings: 1 cup Steel Cut Oats; 3 cups water; 1/4 tsp salt (optional). Stove Top: 1. Add Steel Cut Oats to water, bring to boil, stirring constantly. 2. Reduce to low heat, cover and simmer for 10-12 minutes or until desired consistency. Stir occasionally. Microwave: Use a narrow, tall microwave safe quart container. 1 Serving: Microwave on high for 2 minutes. Stir. Microwave on high for 3 minutes. Let sit covered for 1-2 minutes. Stir and enjoy. 2 Servings: Microwave on high for 3 minutes. Stir. Microwave on high for 4 minutes. Let stand covered for 1-2 minutes. Stir and enjoy. 4 Servings: Not recommended. Store in a cool dry place.
