How to cook: Rinse before cooking. Place 2 1/2 cups cold water, 1 cup freekeh, 1/2 tsp salt and 1/2 tbsp olive oil into a large lidded saucepan. Bring to boil, stirring occasionally. Cover with a lid, lower the heat and simmer for 10-15 minutes. Check that all the water has been absorbed and grains are tender before serving. Enjoy! Ready in about 15 min. Freekeh is an agricultural product. Despite the use of modern cleaning equipment it is not always possible to remove all foreign material. Always rinse and sort freekeh before cooking.
