Caramelized Onion Dip – Burpy

INGREDIENTS
  1. 2 large yellow onions, thinly sliced
  2. 3 garlic cloves, minced
  3. 2 tablespoons butter
  4. 1 teaspoon salt
  5. 1 teaspoon black pepper
  6. 1/2 teaspoon paprika
  7. 1 (8oz) block cream cheese, softened
  8. 1/2 cup sour cream
  9. 1/2 cup mayo
  10. parsley, for garnish
INSTRUCTIONS:
  1. Heat a skillet over medium-high heat. Add the butter and allow it to melt. Throw in the sliced onions and minced garlic. Cook for several minutes, until softened. Season with a bit of salt and black pepper. (Just a few pinches of each). Lower the flame, and cook until caramelized, stirring constantly. Remove from heat.
  2. In a medium bowl, cream together the mayo, sour cream, and cream cheese. Season with a bit of salt, pepper and the paprika. Add the caramelized onions and stir until completely combined. Transfer to a bowl and garnish with fresh chopped parsley on the top. Serve with potato chips, and/or cut up veggies. Enjoy!
Can be stored in the refrigerator for upto 3 days.
